Remember when I'd get my blog post up just a day or two after they happened? Yea....that was fun....
I can't even wrap my brain around the fact that the holiday season is already upon us! Yikes. Halloween is the kick off and we did it up right this year. Because we are a little crazy and like to plan, Erin and I decided a few months ago that Connor and Ruby would be a superhero duo - Wonder Woman and Superman. Well, it was really more of a theme as Grant and Zoe participated too, as Batman and Supergirl. So cute.
Just like last year I wondered if Ruby was going to like her costume enough to really wear it for longer than a minute and I was really excited to learn that she LOVED her costume. We got lot of wear out of it - she wore it numerous times the week of Halloween and she is still wearing her tutu to this day. Yes, it's a wonderful addition to her wardrobe!
Here are some photos of our Halloween celebrations:
The day before Halloween we had a play date with all of the Superheros and all of the "Aunties". We had a great time. Have I mentioned how lucky and spoiled these kids are to have all of this auntie love?! Crazy!
Love these kids!
This picture just kills me - I can hardly stand it.
Ruby of course also had to sport her costume to Sunday dinner. What a ham!
Wonder Woman with our hero - Tucka
And here are pictures from Halloween night. We were invited down to the Khamis house for dinner and trick or treating just as we did last year. We all had fun watching Ruby and Connor "fly" around the cul-de-sac collecting candy. Thanks for having us Erin & Joe!
Already thinking of costumes for next year.... but who am I kidding - I doubt I'll be the one deciding!
