Ruby's First Sleepover

Last night we had Jordyn, Taylor, and Nathan (Ruby's three cousin's from Chris' side of the family) over for a sleepover. What a fun night! So much has changed since their last sleepover which was back before Ruby was born. It seems like ages ago when they slept in Ruby's nursery and were eagerly awaiting her arrival! Ever since that night Taylor has been asking for another sleepover each and every time we see her. We finally let her know that Ruby was ready for her 1st sleepover.

We started the evening with yummy burgers from TK Burger. Ruby had her eye on those french fries!!

Then we played a little Wii and took a small break for a frozen yogurt run!

We also found time to do a little scrapbooking...

and play some Go Fish!

And of course the night wouldn't have been complete without a little wrestling with Uncle Chris!

One of my favorite parts of the night was a couple hours after Ruby had gone to sleep - the "big" kids put on their jammies and were ready for bed and I asked them, "Who wants to go peek on Ruby?" They all raised their hands! So up we all went to her room. The five of us stood over Ruby's crib and watched her sleep for a minute. It was SO cute to see all of them looking at her with the sweetest grins. I only wish I could have captured it on camera because it was SO cute.

I think Ruby's favorite part of the sleepover was waking up this morning and having her cousins in the living room ready for MORE fun!

And then it was off to IHOP for a farewell breakfast. Party of 6 please!

Whew! Can't wait to do it again soon!
