| My Mom & Dad - Married August 26, 1970 |
Last weekend we had a family celebration at our house in honor of my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. Now that I am married I have a greater appreciation of wedding anniversaries and this was a BIG one! And let's face it, my parents getting married had a HUGE impact on my life. Without them I wouldn't be here, so Chris and I knew we had to do something to celebrate!
Thanks to the family who came and made it a fun night - and to the family who couldn't be here we missed you. That's the beauty of this blog, I can share the pictures and "tell" you all about it....

| We BBQ'd carne asada and thanks to Chris (a BBQ master) it was was d'lish. It makes it extra special since this BBQ was my Papa Joe's (my dad's dad). |
