Whew! Recap time. Lots of activities, lots of fun.
Ruby is SUCH a little sponge lately, literally soaking it ALL up. Chris and I can't get enough of seeing Ruby's face light up and watching how quickly she's learning with each new place we go and activity we do. I swear sometimes I can almost see the "light bulb" go on above her head when she figures something out or experiences something new. We have really enjoyed sharing "big girl" outings with her.
Here is a little look at what we've been up to:
After seeing how much Ruby enjoyed Disneyland we decided it was time to check out the Aquarium of the Pacific. We went the day after Thanksgiving and although it was a little crowded we still enjoyed ourselves. Ruby really seemed to be in awe of the entire under water world!
Ruby LOVED the touch tanks!
We also (finally) took our first trip to Pretend City. Ruby and I went with our friends Michelle and Taylor. The girls had a blast running wild. Such a great place for Ruby!
Hey Daddy - I think Ruby may have picked out the car she'd like when she turns 16. :-)
Offering curious George a quick snack
Of all the things to do Ruby LOVED playing with the boats in the water.
And THEN Ruby and I got to spend the whole day with THIS cute little boy while his mama was at work:
It was a fun day filled with lots of laughs. We played with trucks, babies, books, dirt, and had LOTS of snacks. Isn't that the secret to keeping little ones happy?
Total buds!
Such a fun (and a little exhausting) day!
