Although it's hard to believe, we officially have a two year old on our hands! To celebrate Ruby's second birthday we had an Elmo themed BBQ with family and friends. The birthday girl had a blast which was our top priority and I think everyone else had a fun time too.
The main source of entertainment for the kids was Ruby's playhouse and sandbox and we loved seeing all the kids enjoy themselves, even if we spent the week after the party sweeping up sand! The food was great thanks to helping family and my hubs on the BBQ and the company was even better - we have the BEST friends and family. Seeing everyone gather to celebrate our pride and joy was awesome and we know Ruby loved it too - she has wanted to look at pictures of the party every day since.
I thought goldfish would be a fun addition to the party.

These fish didn't even make it through the first half of the party. Woops!

The pinata was so fun. Got to love our mini bat the kids used.
Pinatas were always a part of my birthday parties growing up - I even remember helping my mom paper mache my gumby pinata for one of my parties as a kid.
