What we've been up to...

Recap time! So much to blog about and so little time.

Here's a bit of what's been keeping us busy:

SWIM LESSONS

Ruby just completed her second round of swim lessons and she did awesome. We did a 10 day program and while the first few days were met with tears by day 5 Ruby was an old pro.

A QUICK TRIP TO SAN DIEGO

We took a quick mid week family vacation down to San Diego recently. We stayed at the Catamaran Resort which is the perfect place to stay with kids. We had a bay front room which was perfect for drinks and relaxation while Ruby was napping and down for the night. I think the highlight of the trip was renting beach cruisers and riding to dinner on the beach. Ruby said "Wheeeeeee" the entire ride. So fun.

TINY TUMBLERS

For the past 10 weeks we've been going to an hour long tumbling class every Wednesday morning. Ruby has really enjoyed it - she gets to sing, dance, jump, slide, and tumble away. She did a lot better at following direction than I thought she would but she still gets plenty of opportunities to run wild too. I think her favorite part of the class is when teacher Dayle gives each kid a stamp at the end of class. Most kids get the stamps on their hands or arms but Ruby gets a stamp each week on her foot. Love her!

VISITING DADDY AT WORK

Every day Ruby asks to "call Dada" numerous times a day (and we do) but the other day I decided to do better than that - we went to visit Daddy and Charlie Bo-Bo at work!

We cracked up watching Ruby make herself right at home at her daddy's desk and begin to "work" away. Time to put this girl on the payroll!
