Our new bundle of joy has arrived!

Macy's entrance into this world was quite a wild one and not at ALL what I anticipated. She arrived exactly 1 week prior to her due date and once she decided it was her birthday she was ON A MISSION. Long story short I arrived at the hospital at about 11:45am and was "officially admitted" about 12:15pm. Macy was born at 1:34pm with NO EPIDURAL. Here I am 10 days later still in awe of how quickly things progressed and shocked that although I never aspired to give birth med free I DID IT!!! Not at all what I had planned but the end result was and has continued to be SO AMAZING. Our family is so in love with little Macy and we can't imagine life without her.

A proud Daddy - My favorite memory of Macy's birth was hearing the excitement in Chris' voice as I was pushing. It was just the encouragement I needed - I've never wanted anything to be over so badly in my life! So surreal...

A very special Mothers Day morning - Ruby came to meet her little sister and we were discharged just a few hours later. Nothing like a 24 hour hospital stay!
