We had a fun 4th of July as a family of 4 this year. We have formed a fun little tradition in the past couple years - a parade in the morning followed by swimming, BBQ, and fireworks galore in the afternoon, evening, and into the night. It was a fun day full of family, yummy food and LOTS of noise. Gotta love living in one of the few cities that allows fireworks in Orange County - thankfully and surprisingly neither of the girls were bothered by the noise!

These photos were a happy accident! I guess this is what Ruby does on the 4th of July? Pretty amazing that these photos were taken just two years apart. The girl is growing like a WEED. Can't wait to see Macy running around on the 4th next year!
