Dear Ruby, Today you are 3 months old! Daddy and I can NOT believe how much you've grown and how much we love you. In the last month you have really shown your personality - you are a VERY happy girl. You love to smile, laugh, and flirt (uh-oh!). Last week I took you to meet my coworkers and you were full of smiles and coos for everyone. Mommy was so proud to show you off!
The past month you've been very busy. We've been to Lake Arrowhead, spent time with great grandma Ruby, had playdates with Connor, and even took a trip to The Orange County Fair. Your social calendar is quite full - we have family dinners twice a week, Friday nights with Daddy's side of the family and Sunday nights with Mommy's side. Your grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are SO crazy about you. They line up to hold you!
You have continued to sleep thru the night which makes mommy VERY happy. We wrap you up tight in your swaddle blanket every night and you go down without a peep. How did we get so lucky?
All of that sleep is sure making you grow! You've out grown all of your newborn clothing. I brought out all of your 3 month clothes last week and boy do you have some cute stuff! It made me a little sad to box up all the tiny newborn clothes. Daddy and I are looking forward to all the fun times we have in store but at the same time we are wishing you'd stay a newborn for just a little longer!
You are currently loving: Your fingers in your mouth, walks in the Back Bay with Auntie Megan, playdates with Connor, and the music on your swing and pack n play.
Things you could really do without: Tummy time & dirty diapers
Thank you Ruby for bringing so much joy into our lives. We couldn't have asked for a better baby!
