On Sunday Ruby and I joined my mom and aunt on a little day trip up to Santa Barbara to visit Ashley. We had a fun day with the girls! One thing is for sure - Ruby LOVES having a "friend" in the backseat with her. She isn't used to seeing a face back there but her Nana and Aussie took turns in the backseat playing. They read Three Little Kittens, sang "Down in the Meadow", played peek-a-boo, blew bubbles, YOU NAME IT. Needless to say Ruby was a happy baby for the road trip.
Once in Santa Barbara we had fun visiting with Ashley and seeing her apartment. We walked through Isla Vista, ate lunch at Woodstocks, and took a tour of the campus. It was a beautiful day and Ruby enjoyed being strolled all over UCSB. I think the highlight for Ruby was her very first pony ride courtesy of Aussie's leg (see video below). Thanks Auss!!
Ashley, thank you for being our tour guide for the day. Let's do it again before you graduate!
