Here a a few highlights from the past week...
Sunday was my mom's Surprise 60th birthday party at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Course. She had NO idea and keeping a secret for the past few months was just a little tough! My mom's only wish for her 60th was that she have NO SURPRISES! I was a little worried how she might react but she of course had a great time at the party. It helped that two of her best friends were also turning 60 this month and it was a joint party for all the friends and family of the three ladies. It was a gorgeous day with yummy food and great company. Looking forward to more celebrating this month!

On Monday Ruby and I joined Chris on a paint delivery to a couple of his jobs down in Emerald Cove. WOW. I love seeing where Chris gets to work after hearing all about the amazing homes he sees on a daily basis. I have BIG plans for Ruby, myself, and the private beach in Emerald Cove this Spring. Who wants to join us?!?! :-)
After running our errands the three of us had lunch at The Cliffs restaurant in Laguna. There is nothing better than the beach on a beautiful day in the Spring before the summer crowds are everywhere. Ruby loved eating her puffs and watching the waves crash and birdies fly by! On Thursday while I was working Nana took Ruby on a playdate to see her friend Matty. Matty's mom Shannon was a previous student of my mom's and she had her baby boy within a week of when I had Ruby last year. They have gotten together a few times and Ruby of course loves seeing him. What is with Ruby and her need to kiss the boys? Sheesh!?!?
And since you can't really see poor Matty's face since Ruby is trying to EAT it, here is a better picture of him. Sweet boy!
