Ruby's Half Birthday

This past Monday was Ruby's half birthday - I can NOT believe our baby is a year and a half old! Considering Ruby LOVES the song "Happy Birthday" I figured the best way to celebrate Ruby's half birthday was with lots of singing. So lots of singing we did!

Breakfast singing:

The infamous "You are special today" plate. Gotta have it...

As you can see Ruby wasn't into this AT ALL. :-)

I stopped singing and Ruby even attempted to blow out her candle (which I never lit.) Hilarious!
Lunch singing:

Dinner singing (at Ruby's Diner with Nana & Papa)

So proud!

"blowing" out her candle....

This Mickey Mouse was a gift from Nana and Papa and sadly Ruby's wasn't too impressed. Not only was she not impressed she was frightened! Mickey is quite animated and loud and I think he freaked Ruby out. All of the other children who were in the restaurant however seemed to love him. Go figure....

Such a big girl! Ruby took a ride all by herself on Santa's train after dinner.

Only 6 months until we have a two year old. YIKES!!
