What we've been up to...

Here is a little peek at what's been going on in our neck of the woods....

Ruby's reach is making it tough for ANYTHING to be "safe". She loves pulling things off the counter tops and bringing them to mommy.

We spent a few hours last week down at the beach at Crystal Cove. What a beautiful fall day. Ruby LOVED running down the beach, digging in the sand, feeding the birds, playing with Nana, and having her first frozen banana at the Beachcomber!

We helped "Pops" celebrate his birthday. We went to a Chinese restaurant and discovered that Ruby is a Chinese food fan. No one could believe how much she had to eat! Her favorites were the pot stickers, chow mein, orange chicken, and of course the rice.

We also helped cousin Ashley celebrate her birthday. Ruby was a BIG fan of the black oil cake that Aussie made. It's a family favorite that my grandma (Ruby) Bennett was famous for making. YUM! By the way, can you guess from this picture what Ruby's favorite song is? Yep... Happy Birthday!

Another thing we've been up to..... sleeping in! It's 9:30 as I type this and Ruby is STILL sleeping. I can't even tell you how thankful I feel. Sleep is a favorite thing of mine and it's clear that Ruby inherited my love of sleep. God bless that child! :-)
