Lake Arrowhead

I love vacations when you can walk our your door and be at your destination in under two hours. Last weekend we took off early on Friday and headed back to the site of
Ruby's very first vacation. Yep, we spent a couple days of fun and family bonding in Lake Arrowhead. There wasn't any snow (looks like we were a week early) but after the massive amounts of snow we saw in Tahoe we were perfectly happy with the crisp, cool, & clear weekend we had. The weather was gorgeous - perfect for busy little girls who like to run around and play outdoors!

Here are some photos from our weekend in beautiful Arrowhead:

I had joked earlier that morning that I wanted to take Ruby to Santa's Village (knowing that it was long gone). We headed to the village to find a playground and found the Lollipop Park. This place had Ruby written all over it!

This ride was always a favorite of mine as a kid (well, the larger version). We asked Ruby if she wanted to go for a ride expecting her to say no but she replied with a confident "Yep!"

Much to our surprise she loved it!

Thank you Papa!

One of the many benefits of having your daddy be 6'6 - being able to give kisses to random statues.

We love Gigi and Tucka too!

Nana even came prepared with activities to keep Ruby entertained.

Ruby took her water coloring VERY seriously!

Always a good time with this group. Love them!
