As an adult I've always enjoyed Valentines Day but it's never been a BIG deal for Chris and I. As a child I remember my parents always making Valentines Day a fun and special day and making sure I was reminded how much they loved me. I know that at 20 month's Ruby won't necessarily remember her Valentines Day this year but I do know that she had fun on Monday - and so did I. Not to tough to show the two most important people in my life how much I love them!
A few pictures from Valentines Day 2011:
Rubes and I made a little artwork for daddy's Valentine.
Nothing better than a handmade gift from your little girl!
Ruby was SO anxious for her Daddy to get home from work so she could give him his Valentine...
" Where's Daddy?!?" (By the way does Ruby not look like she's a full on KID in this picture?!)
Ahhh. Daddy's home and he brought Ruby flowers and a Valentine. So sweet.
For dinner we had Haus of Pizza - Ruby loved her spaghetti. :-)
Ruby picked her Valentine out a few weeks ago at Target (long before Charlie arrived). It's a stuffed cupcake that opens and has a puppy inside. As I brought it out on Valentines Day I couldn't help but notice how ironic it was that Charlie had come to live with us just the day before!
Our new love - Charlie Bo-Bo. A fantastic Valentines Day gift!
