The OC Great Park

I am always looking for places I can take Ruby to run wild (literally) and burn off some of her endless energy. A friend suggested we check out the OC Great Park and I was sold when she mentioned they had a park, carousel, and helium balloon ride that were all free! So we invited our besties Erin and Connor to join us and off we went to play. We had a fun time and it wound up being a GREAT place for Ruby to run around. Here are pictures from our outing:

Ruby is LOVING her horsie rides these days. She went through a phase where she did NOT want to ride but she is clearly over that.

Connor on the other hand is still undecided. The first round he hung back with Mama...

But the second time around he found a "horsie" that was actually a pig. Being the true Olivia fan that he is, he agreed to ride and pretend he was having a good time. So brave. :-)

After the carousel it was time to take the balloon ride. While waiting in line Ruby decided to pass the time by hugging her main man. She can't keep her hands off him!

On our way up Ruby kept saying "Oh Whoa Mama".

We ended the day with lunch - the kids enjoyed tossing coins into the fountain and more hugs of course.
