Ruby's First Thanksgiving

Another first has come and gone. Our first Thanksgiving with Ruby was a great day. Thank goodness our families live so close because yesterday we bounced from one meal right into another. It was a day full of family and Ruby was a great sport. I swear, I've joked that we should install a "kiss counter" on that girl because she gets SO many kisses.

Our first stop was Nana and Papa Bennett's house. Uncle Joshie was home from Northern Cal and Ashley was home from college, it was nice to have the family together. We also had my mom's cousin and his family join us from Riverside so it was a full house. The food was d'LISH. Nothing beats our families stuffing - no Stovetop here!!
Having Ruby sitting with us at the dinner table was so fun. She looked like such a big girl! It was a glimpse ahead at the years to come. We loved having her there between us!

Next stop was over to Uncle Mike, Aunt Cindy, and Mimi's house. Again, Ruby stole the show. What is it about babies that makes us all act crazy? Chris managed to have another turkey dinner and I held out and saved room for dessert. We had a nice night relaxing on the couch with family watching "Home Alone".

Ruby being her wiggle worm self. She wants to crawl so bad!
