I had such a fun time planning Ruby's first birthday party! Those who know me know I am a sucker for details and I enjoy being crafty so let's just say the month prior to the party I was BUSY during naptime.
I was giving it some thought the other day, asking myself WHY I enjoy the little things and I realized that it's all for good reason! Growing up my mom had an amazing stash of rubber stamps, stickers, pens, ribbon, etc which I was always getting into. She was also ALWAYS taking photos (which at the time I hated) and creating scrapbooks (which I am now SO thankful for!) And then there is my dad, who has worked in the paper industry all my life. So it's no really wonder that I love taking pictures, shopping at the paper source, and crafting. It's just in my blood!
I may have gone a bit overboard considering it was a party Ruby will never have a single memory from hey - there's always the pictures!!

FANTASTIC!! Wish we lived closer to have taken part. The pics are GREAT tho, makes me feel like I was right there, "in a way"
