Busy, Busy, Busy! Here's a glimpse at what we've been up to....
We took a quick trip back to Kansas City for a few days to visit with Grandma Bennett.Ruby was a GREAT little traveller! So busy on the plane but no tears.

So that we can contain our little rover, we now have a play yard aka "baby jail" smack dab in the middle of the living room. Don't be jealous! I fought this decision and we waited as long as possible but with her new found interest in the stairs and my needing to get things done around the house this is our reality.
Thankfully the baby jail is still fun for little Miss Ruby. She can entertain herself for quite a while in here which makes me one happy (and productive) mommy!
March, April, and May is birthday season in our family. We celebrated mommy and daddy's birthdays last weekend with a DELICIOUS coffee ice cream mud pie made by Nana. It was complete with homemade chocolate fudge. WOW!!
And of course, we've been spending some time preparing for SOMEONES First Birthday! We can't wait for her party!!!
Daddy has been VERY busy in the backyard working on a special little project for his little girl's first birthday. I can't wait to share pictures of the finished project!!
