She's Walking!!!

It's official - as of Friday last week our little girl is up and walking! We've been seeing steps for a few weeks now but she seemed to prefer crawling because it was faster and she was far more efficient on all fours. I think the turning point was last Wednesday when I took Ruby to Kids Club at the gym. She was in there with a few other "big kids" and I could tell when I picked her up that she had been inspired. (I am serious!) On Thursday she took a few steps while Papa was taking care of her and then on Friday she was all over the place!

Ruby gets so excited for herself and starts to clap for after a few steps. After the clapping she's like a drunken sailor. I love to see her so proud of herself!

Here is a video from Friday. Pretty impressive Rubes! I have no doubt she'll be running in no time. :-) Oh God help me......
