Yesterday we took our second annual trip to Tanaka Farms to visit the pumpkin patch. Although a few things remained the same about our trip (joining the Khamis family and Nana & Papa) it was quite a different experience from last year's trip. Last year we had to prop Ruby up amongst the pumpkins and this year she was all about running around and creating her own pumpkin patch experience!
Our outings with Ruby are often chaotic but we always have fun watching her explore and experience new things. Yesterday we had fun and enjoyed sharing tradition and memories with family and friends. Let the holiday season begin!

We decided to check out the petting zoo this year. WHOA, those goats don't mess around. In fact I thought they seemed a little aggressive. Ruby wasn't interested in seeing them up close (heck, neither was mommy!)
I love this picture for so many reasons - it represents an old friendship, a new friendship, and of course the place in life that we as mommies are in with our little toddlers. I know Erin will agree - getting a picture of our little ones these days is next to impossible! So this picture to me is just PERFECT! :-)
