It has become a yearly tradition to participate in both the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure and the American Diabetes Step Out To Fight Diabetes walks. These walks represent causes near and dear to my heart as I have lost loved ones to both breast cancer (my grandma Edith) and diabetes (Jeri Marsh, the mother of one of my best friends.) It is an honor to participate and support these causes. I love that Ruby has joined me the past two years. I hope to instill the importance of supporting loved ones, giving back, and doing good deeds in Ruby as my parents did in me.
