It's been a busy couple weeks filled with packing, moving, and unpacking. We have been in our new place for a full week now and we REALLY love it here. I know we are going to have wonderful memories in this house. And how funny that we are back in the neighborhood just blocks from the elementary school that Chris and I both attended 15 (or was it 20?!?) years ago.
I am loving how clean this house is - everything from the flooring and paint to the windows and appliances are new. Chris is digging the two car garage and having a place to mount our 50 inch TV above the fireplace. Ruby is having a blast running around and exploring (touching) everything. She seems to love being able to get to her room without having to bother with the stairs (yea no baby gate!) Her favorite things to do in her room are climb in her glider and "read" and open the drawer of her dresser which contains her "night-nights". She comes running from her room holding a few blankies to her head at least 3 or 4 times a day...
Thank you to all of our friends and family who helped us move. We couldn't have done it without all of the babysitting, playhouse demo, packing, transporting, and unpacking help. We love you!
